Willis Knighton Progressive Care Center at 2550 Kings Highway is a 48-bed, skilled-nursing/subacute care facility that specializes in short-term care.

Our highly experienced staff and medical team are dedicated to comprehensive, compassionate care. Our program is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most major health plans. We also accept workers’ compensation, fee-for-service and out-of-pocket payers. Insurance coverage is verified and approved before admission so that patients know of any out-of-pocket expenses in advance. Coverage is verified and updated as necessary throughout your stay. Additional fees and other incidental charges may apply.

Services Include:

• 24-hour nursing care including medications
• Assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs)
• On-site therapy (including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy)*
• Wound care
• Access to dialysis (including transportation)
• IV antibiotics
• Three nutritious meals per day, plus snacks
• Toiletries and personal care items (including diapers and briefs)
• Pastoral care
• Social workers and case managers
• Social activities (games, outings, etc.)
• In-room activities for those who are unable to join group gatherings
• Transportation

*We plan to add respiratory therapy as well as vent and trach care.
